Also, there was getting to be so much stuff in the info page that I moved everything except the preview over to a sidebar, and otherwise tweaked the layout a bit. Go take a look and let me know of any problems.

After trying all the feed to email services I could find, I picked a reasonable one and added a subscribe-by-email option to info pages, see mine for an example. Let me know about any problems with it.

blog: Launch, I guess

A few months ago I wanted a way to put all my feeds into Facebook, but couldn’t find anything I was happy with. I tossed together some Python scripts to do it, then realized maybe other people would like to use the same service. I named and registered FeedSalon in September, spent a few hours building it in October, then didn’t touch it much in November.

Now that it’s December, I decided that the next time I added a feature, I would go ahead and publically launch it, flaws and all.

Well, last night I made this sweet animated loading gif: (that’s a feature, right?), so here’s the launch.

I’ll use this blog to announce new features, talk about some of the (somewhat unconventional) architecture, and solicit new ideas. Naturally you can subscribe through my FeedSalon to all my feeds, or just this blog.
